Powell, Helen (McTaggert) Age 96, peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, of Whitehall.

Daughter of the late John and Mary (Cotter) McTaggart; beloved wife of the late Edwin R. Powell; loving mother of David and John "Jack" (Henrietta) Powell and Jeanne (Edward) Mills; loving grandmother of Brian, Craig and Todd (Danielle) Powell, Tracie (Mark) Howell and Tricia (Kirk) Berthold; dear sister of the late Ann McTaggert (Walter) Herrmann, Richard (Elizabeth) and Charles (Cecelia) McTaggert. Also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, on Monday from 2-8 p.m. Blessing Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
