Age 95, on Thursday, February 27, 2014, of Whitehall.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony Parise; beloved mother of Joseph (Mary Ann), Vincent (Elizabeth), Barbara Ann (Mack) McGivern and Janet (Robert) Ball; beloved grandmother of Anthony, Dawn, Timothy, Kimberly, Lena, Deanna, Marisa, Anthony, Edward and Rob; beloved great-grandmother of Anthony, Lindsey, Christopher, Jose, Dominick, Dea, Anthony, Nicholas, Paul, Kamelia, Jessica, Brian, Madison, Tyler and Robby; beloved great-great-grandmother of Seana and Sky; beloved sister of the late Richard, William, Nick, Frank, Jim, Angelina Ferraro, Dominica Mullica, Mathilda Able and Theresa Schroth. Helen will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Saturday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m.

    Joe, Vince, Barb, Janet and families, I will always remember my aunt Helen as warm, loving and kind. Many fond memories of all of us growing up. I'm in Florida now so could not attend her funeral. My prayers have been with all of you this past week. She always thought the best of people and was always willing to help.     My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Aunt Helen was a wonderful woman. Many dear memories of her, especially when Allie was young; and, we visited Aunt Helen and Theresa at the apartments.

    Barb, Joey,Vince, Janet and families. I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a lovely women. I think of her every time I go to Giant Eagle sitting by the door waiting for the bus . I haven't seen her in quite awhile.May she rest in Peace.
