Obituary For Henry J. "Hank" Gorski

Age 87, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Southside, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022.

Beloved husband of 64 years to June (Manthey) Gorski; dear father of Leanne (Lynn) Chalfant and Michael (Virginia) Gorski; grandfather of Philip, Luke, Christina, Michelle, Gwen and Doug; great-grandfather of six; brother of Louis (Jacqueline) Gorski and the late Bernard (survived by Carol) and the late Dorothy Staus. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Hank retired from J & L and LTV Steel. There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. If desired, family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Avenue #1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

    Mrs. Gorski, Michael and Leanne, I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Gorski's passing. Kaufmann Avenue was such a special place to grow up.
