Morycz, Henry M. "Hank"

Age 92, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, of Baldwin .

Husband of Anna Gawlik Morycz; father of Barbara Morycz of Scott Twp.; Carl (Carol) Morycz of Michigan and Carol (Gary) Haag of Saltsburg, PA; grandfather of Mark (Kim), Lisa (fiance Dean), Steven (Stacy), Kimberly, Amy (Sean), Ashley (fiance Scott) and Adam; great-grandfather of Maggie; brother of the late Ben Morycz and Jennie Petrosky; also survived by nieces and nephews. Hank was an electrical engineer with Westinghouse for 45 yrs., a volunteer at Jefferson Hospital for 25 yrs., and a dedicated volunteer at St. Gabriel Church bingo for 40 yrs. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Saturday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Gabriel School Fund, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    Ann, Carl & Carol, Sorry to hear about Hank. He was on one the true great people that I have had the honor to know in my lifetime. It was a priveledge for me to call him "friend". I will make sure that he is in my prayers but I am sure that he is in the Lord's arms today. God Bless all of you.
