Obituary For Howard M. Kane

May 24, 1930 - November 3, 2016

Kane, Howard M., Age 86, on November 3, 2016 of Pleasant Hills, PA Loving husband for 61 years of Frances McWilliams Kane; son of the late Andrew A. Kane and Agnes (Kraft) Kane; brother of the late LaVerne "Doc" Kane, Andrew "Jack" Kane and Arnold "Butch" Kane, Relda Kane and Audrey (Kane) McWilliams. Survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Howard was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War on the USS Yosemite, and retired from General Motors- Fisher Body Works where he worked for 40 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Valentine Church at 10:00 a.m. Donations may be made to in Howard's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
