I met Irene a few years back when little Belle and I would be walking on Spencer Avenue. Sometimes we would walk up to St wendelyn's chatting and other times we would sit on the wall at Patty Joe's. Irene and Belle enjoyed each other's company as she and I would talk. we had some pretty funny and Lively conversations. She would tell it like it is and sometimes we would laugh like heck .she would always ask how I was doing as I would ask her also. A few years back I brought her some chocolate covered strawberries from Esther's and she was just so happy.. I have missed her walking the past couple years. We ended our walks sometimes with her saying something funny and often times a hug.. we will miss her very much.. Gordy Sullivan.
