Thomas, Ivor L., age 76, suddenly on Saturday, March 22, 2014, of Bethel Park.

Loving husband of Nancy (White) Thomas for 50 years; beloved father of Ivor L. "Lyn" Thomas, II and Sean K. Thomas; brother of Barbara Klein; also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. Ivor was a retired Union Carpenter for Local #142, and was a Veteran of the US Navy. He was an avid gardener and lover of animals.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, March 26, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 9-10 a.m. in First English Evangelical Lutheran Church, 615 Grant St., Pittsburgh, PA 15219, where his service will be held at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the First English Evangelical Lutheran Church or an Animal charity of one's choice.
