Obituary For Jacqueline J. Gilmore

December 19, 1925 - July 3, 2014

Gilmore, Jacqueline "Jackie", age 88, on Wednesday, July 3, 2014 of Whitehall. Wife of the late Robert J. Gilmore; beloved mother of James (Kimberly) Gilmore and the late William L. Gilmore; daughter of the late Leonard and Mildred Hildebrand. Jackie was a member of the Twilight Knitters, South Hills Knitting Guild, she was an active member of the Baldwin Community United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Green Thumbers. Before retiring, she was affiliated with the Pittsburgh Hearing and Speech and a Director of the Adult Daycare at the Stephen Foster Center. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 10:00. If desired, family suggests contributions to Whitehall Public Library, 100 Borough Park Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    Dearest Jim and Kim, I was so sorry to hear about your moms passing. I have many wonderful memories of her from the time I was a little girl. She was certainly a wonderful friend to my mom. I will always remember her fondly and with a smile. Leslie Porter Henry
