James-Margaret Gump Memorial Service and Celebration of Lives

Due to pandemic delays, and in honor of what would have been their 70th wedding anniversary on September 29, we will hold a belated memorial service and celebration of their lives together on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Service will be held at 10:30 AM at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Brentwood. The address is 4048 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh PA 15227. A luncheon gathering and display of mementos will follow in the church downstairs.

James W., age 94, passed peacefully at his residence on March 16, 2020. Margaret V., age 90, passed peacefully at her residence on December 1, 2020. They lived long lives together and will be missed by many. Both grew up in the Waynesburg PA area and eventually married in 1951. They are survived by James and Robin Gump of Pittsburgh, Douglas Gump-Jeanne Merkl plus son Bradley Merkl-Gump and his family of Perkasie PA.
