Obituary For James F. Lynch

December 6, 1934 - June 15, 2015

Lynch, James F., age 80, on Monday, June 15, 2015 of Brentwood. Loving husband of 42 years to the late Barbara A. Lynch; beloved father of Patrick (Sally) Lynch, Scott Lynch and the late Kelly Lynch; step-father of Janis (Skip) Schneider and Nancy (Thomas) Wetzel; caring grandfather of Patrick Lynch, Jr., Barbara (Joseph) Martinelli, Cynthia (Sang) Lieu, Kristin Wetzel, Tammy (Scott) Shrubb, Sherry (Joseph) Battung, and Eve Mae Schneider; great-grandfather of 16; brother of Patricia Zontine. James served in the U.S.Air Force and retired from Dean Honda after 20 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services and interment will be held privately.     Jim and I have known each other since the 70s, having worked together at multiple dealerships-mercedes/honda/peugeot. He had such a super sense of humor,could spin a tale with the best. Many times over a beer we would "Fix the WORLDS problems" Jimmy taught me to laugh and try to enjoy life as we're only here for a short time. I'll miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend!
