Shanahan, James H., age 90, on Saturday, December 24, 2022, of Upper St. Clair.

Beloved husband of 53 years to Sandra (Ziegler) Shanahan; son of the late Thomas M. and Loretta R. (Fuhr) Shanahan; brother of the late Bernice Clyde Smith, Thomas E. (Rosemary) Shanahan and Eileen Wick Stinson. Also survived by his niece Carole Shanahan. James was an avid hunter and fisherman who spent over fifteen years in Germany serving in the US Air Force. Jim went on to retire from the US Air Force after twenty years and went on to further his education at Penn State University graduating with a Masters Degree in Audiology. He then worked twenty years for the VA Hospital System. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2023 beginning at 10:30 a.m. in St Catherine Laboure' Parish, St. Louise de Marillac Church until the time of his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., immediately followed by interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
