He inspired me in many ways even though i only had him for a few months. What i will remember is that he would always recommend the best action movies to watch. i didn't know him long enough to have a strong enough bond but he will always be my favorite coach. My thoughts and prayers go out to the zamaris family during these rough times. Rest in peace coach Jim

Gone too soon yet never forgotten! Jimmy was the whole package, genuine, kind, compassionate, athletic, charming, funny, intelligent, handsome and most importantly "he loved his family and friends full heartedly "! No matter how many years went by, Jimmy always kept in touch and would reach out to check in & "catch up", see how it's going! Brittany, James & Gabriella were Jimmy's life, his heartbeat, they are everything he lived for! I'm truly sorry God had to take him from them but all of us as well! I will always be grateful that I was blessed enough to have Jimmy as my little cousin and spend the time with him that I did because knowing him was truly special and in the event you had him as a friend, you were lucky! Since Jimmy was a child, he was so funny and intelligent! One day Jimmy, Aunt Lisa, Aunt Debbie and little Donny and I were all riding up to Ohio Powell which was my Aunt Lisa favorite places to go. Jimmy was about 5yrs old, and started swearing saying "Fu%#, over & over again and my Aunt Lisa yelled out & said "what did you say"? Jimmy said "Fire Truck, I said Fire Truck "!!! I laughed so hard because at such a young age, he knew how to make a bad word sound good! I know Jimmy is now with my Aunt Lisa, whom he missed so much but I know my cousins heart and if he had it his way, he would have never been apart from his beloved family! I apologize in advance for the long rant however I just wanted to share a little about Jimmy with those who didn't know him long enough! Please keep Jimmy's wife & children in your thoughts and prayers, they are going to need it!!

James served selflessly on our tour together in Iraq and was vital to our mission. He never missed an opportunity to support his fellow soldiers with any task needed and often stayed late in the office doing so. He went above and behind to support his unit and our mission in Iraq. I could tell he loved Brittany from the first time I saw them together at our annual training together in Germany and I'm glad that he married the love of his life. He was always passionate and a man who followed his own heart. You'll be missed brother in arms. Old Soldiers never say goodbye. Only until next time. Even if it's on the other side. LTC Holmes

Jim's passing has left us with a deep sense of loss and sorrow. He was an extraordinary colleague, a trusted confidant, and a true friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. May we all find strength in the love and support we have for one another during this difficult time. I will forever remember his laugh and smile.

The Zamaris Family, it is with great sadness and a heavy heart to hear of the loss of James. Jim will be missed tremendously at 700 Grant Street. He was always kind and willing to go above and beyond to help the Court Security Staff with whatever needed to be done. May he rest in Peace.
