Gary, So sorry to hear about your mom. Our parents were friends when they were newlywed couples almost 70 years ago. I remember that they had a lot of fun together. Your mom remained a friend to my mother (mostly via telephone) until she called me to tell me she was moving to be with you and your family. My mom moved to a personal care home 3 years ago, and also passed away just 3 months ago at age 91. Your mom was so active and had so much energy. Several years ago she telephoned my mom to tell her that day she had washed down her bedroom walls, cared for a neighbor, and made 12 nutrolls!! She asked what my mom did that day. "Made toast" was her reply. They really laughed about that! Your parents were good people, and oh boy, you were the center of their universe!
