Obituary For Janet L. Bello

May 1, 1947 - November 7, 2015

Bello, Janet (Benton, Hartman) Age 68, after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, November 7, 2015 of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved wife of 15 years and best friend of 22 years to Jack Bello; loving mom to Bob (Colleen) Benton, Brian (Dana) Benton and Michael (Kathy) Bello, Gina (Tom) Stakem and Lisa (John Ryan) Bello; proud grandmother of Nathan, Bobby, Jacob, Brian, Kelcie, Dylan, Michael, John, Jack, Ella and Luke; sister of Jessie Schwilm and Gladys Hartman; sister-in-law of Bonnie Callahan. Janet was a kind and loving woman who valued time with family and friends. She was an avid lover of animals. Janet will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Brentwood. Please meet at church. Interment will be private. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
