April 23, 1942 - June 25, 2017

Lamanna, Janet M. (Gallaher) Weiss On Sunday, June 25, 2017, of Baldwin Township, formerly of Mt. Oliver.

Beloved wife of Augie Lamanna; mother of Steve (Jamie) Weiss and Sue (Tim) Jugovic; stepmother of Joy Stanfield, Lauren (Dan) Kenney and August Jason (Ashley) Lamanna; grandma of Nyla Weiss and Sarah and Nicholas Jugovic; stepgrandma of Zachary Stanfield, Emma Grace Monts, Declan and Madeline Kenney and Austin Taylor Lamanna; sister of John (the late Susan) Gallaher, Joe (Judy) Gallaher and the late Jim Gallaher. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Janet loved to dance. She was a founding member of Steel City Boogie Club as well as Pittsburgh Area Jitterbug Club. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to American Heart Association, 4 Gateway Center, 444 Liberty Avenue, Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
