Obituary For Janet M. Rauch

April 3, 1948 - January 24, 2016

Rauch, Janet M. (Tompel) Age 67, on Sunday, January 24, 2016, of Carrick.

Beloved wife of Gary Rauch for over 45 years; loving mother of Gary (Jeannie) Rauch and Anne (Philip) Reichner; grandmother of Emily, Jonathan, Paige and Parker; daughter of Beatrice "Bea" Tompel and the late John Tompel; sister of the late Bonnie Brickner. Janet was a longtime parishioner of St. Basil Parish. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Basil Church at 10:30 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.

    Rauch family: My deepest sympathy!! I've know Janet since she was a child. We've seen each other in various occasions; Village Dairy, shopping with Beatty, attending morning mass at St. Alberts with Gary. I feel like I'm related, being my uncle Leo Donsbach married Beatty's sister, Marg. Your faith will give you the strength to go forward, God bless, Betty Meyer
