Janet R. Kealey, born September 9, 1942, passed away at age 81 on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Janet spent the past 30 years as a resident of Cecil Township, Bridgeville.

Janet is survived by her husband of 57 years, Patrick. Loving mother of Robert (Lisa), Jamie (Scott) and the late Maria; proud grandmother of Gillian, Zoey and Grady, all of Maryland; sister of Patricia (Chuck) McCloskey and Raymond (Lou Ann) Sadowski; daughter of the late Raymond Sadowski and Eleanor Sadowski Maienknecht. Janet was a highly skilled artist. She used her imagination, creativity and thoughts to create art that was visually captivating and thought provoking. She was a fast learner and adapted well at different companies. Her family moved to different states due to Patrick's job. Janet adjusted fast to her work responsibilities. She worked in support positions in the fields of science, geology, auditing and real estate. Janet vacationed to Hawaii, Scotland, Ireland and France. Her favorite travel events were two Steelers Super Bowls in the 1970's and she loved her trips to Key West, Florida. Janet was a caring, genuine and highly creative individual. She was also a friend to a lot of people.

A Celebratory Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.until 1:00 p.m. where a Memorial Blessing Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
