January 21, 1943 - March 9, 2017

Fontana, Janice C. (Young) Age 74, on Thursday, March 9, 2017, of Finleyville, formerly of Pittsburgh.

Wife of the late Joseph Fontana; mother of John "Jay" Young, Jr., Janice, Mary Jo, Jennifer, Christopher and Amy Jo; sister of Denise Colosimo, Karen O. Zovko, Debra Webb and the late Charles Robert Oglesby. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. followed by a blessing service at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Fix Ur Cat, 183 Hill Place Road, Venetia, PA 15367.

    With our deepest sympathy to the family of Janice Young Fontana from the Krause family in Florida. We will miss you and sharing stories with you and Joe. We always discussed the horse races with Joe and some of his tips were not good! We'll miss you both.
