Age 83, on Friday, November 17, 2023, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Squirrel Hill.

Beloved wife of 45 years to Roger; daughter of the late Charles and Florine Rohe; loving sister of Claire (the late John) Petersen, George Rohe, Florine (the late Bill) Kelly, John (Catharine Davis) Rohe, William (Shelley) Rohe, Bernard (Maria) Rohe, Charlene (Joseph) Malaskovitz and the late Charles Rohe, Gloria (survived by James) Wagner, Richard (survived by Dolly) Rohe and Robert (Alena) Rohe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Janice taught elementary students for 11 years in the parochial schools and then 27 years in the Pittsburgh Public School System. Her passions included gardening, reading, socializing and "playing" bridge. She will be missed dearly. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, November 20, 2023 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 10:00.
