Obituary For Jay Irvin Johnson

June 2, 1943 - October 14, 2018

Johnson, Jay I., age 75, on Sunday, October 14, 2018. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Moeslein); father of Jay P. (Rachel) Johnson; grandfather of Jack Robert and Scarlett Elizabeth; son of the late Robert Clarence Johnson and Elizabeth Marie (Prince); brother of Sandra McWilliams, Dallas Johnson, James Johnson, Donald Johnson, Bonnie Ambrozy and the late Robert Johnson and Joyce Kelley. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Thursday morning at 11. If desired family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

    A great man with a beautiful smile, laugh and attitude. Everytime i worked with a customer and they told me they told me they were also looking at a Saturn, once i knew they were working with Jay i knew he'd win the business with that charm. My condolences go out to the entire Johnson Family. God's getting one of the best.

    So sorry to the entire family of the loss of Jay. A great fun loving guy I have known and cared about for many many years. Sorry I am unable to be there to pay my respects,but I want you all to know my thoughts and great memories are with you. Rest in peace Jay knowing every time a see '57 Chevy rag top I will be thinking of you.
