Obituary For Jean D. Pate

March 11, 1937 - September 15, 2014

Pate, Jean (Lamanna), on Monday, September 15, 2014 of West Mifflin. Beloved wife of the late Frank; loving mother of Gina (Dewey) Olinski and Frank A. (Michelle) Pate; grandmother of Kelsey, Josh, Janna, Alyssa and Nico; sister of Betty (Tom) Shea. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Church at 11:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Golden Heights, 3522 Rt. 130, Irwin, PA 15642.

    Dear Gina and Frankie, Your Mom and Dad were role models for all of us. They both worked hard, were devoted to each other, and cherished their family. Your Mom handled her many health problems with grit, grace, and determination. She was always fun to talk to and maintained her sense of humor. I will miss our phone calls.
