Sontag, Jean M. (Leech)
Age 90, peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2024 of Baldwin/Whitehall .

Beloved wife of the late Raymond J.; loving mother of Eileen (Dan) Schmidt, Laurie (Jim) Ross and Edward (Janice) Sontag; proud Grammy of Danielle (Greg Kupka) Schmidt, Jason Schmidt, Nicholas Ross, Andrew Sontag and Bryan (Karalynn) Sontag; Great-Grandma of Gabriel Sontag; sister of the late Shirley Ware. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Jean was a devoted, lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church where she worked as a secretary for many years and rang in the bell choir. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, 4301 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Everyone please meet at the church. If desired, family suggests contributions to Zion Lutheran Church.
