Obituary For Jeanne M. Franz

Age 64, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

Beloved daughter of the late Clifford and Doris (McCann) Franz; loving sister of Karen Henciak, Marilyn Franz, Judy (Michael) McCaffrey, Robert (Sheri) Franz, Patricia Franz, Kevin Franz and the late Clifford, Jr. (survived by Shirley) Franz, James Franz and Albert (survived by Robin) Franz; aunt of 15 nieces, nephews and their families. Also survived by numerous friends. Jeanne overcame an unfortunate accident in her twenties, yet lived her life to the fullest. She will be remembered as a kind, loving and generous woman who will be missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Our Lady of Hope Parish, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.     Rest in Peace Jeanie <3 I'll never forget all our afternoons spent together after I got off the bus every day growing up. Fighting the "fang", playing computer games, and watching your soaps are some of my fondest memories. Rest in peace keep an eye on us all <3
