Age 59, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026 surrounded by his loving family after a hard fought battle with Multiple Symptom Atrophy (MSA).

Beloved son of the late William and Anne Marie Susan; cherished brother of Barbara (Harry) Grosse, Michael (Judi Cipollari) Susan, Beth Anne (Chazz) Gitzen, Mark (Cheryl) Susan and Joseph (Diana) Susan; proud uncle of Stephen (Mara), Leah, Adam (Taylor), Jordan, Madi (Joey), Connor (Julia), Tyler (Brooke), Kayla, Carmella, Natalia, Michael and Annie. Jeff is also survived by many loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends and was a devoted owner of several German Shepherds, with Riley always being by his side over the last few years.

Jeff worked for many years at Action Housing Inc. as a Weatherization Specialist. His true passion was landscaping and he spent many sunny weekends with countless friends and family serving the South Hills area. He was an Allegheny College alum, played shortstop for the Gators and was a true Pirates fan.

His generosity, love for family, kindness, and care for others was unmatched. Truly, he was a “super dude.”

To the whole Susan family, I was so sorry to hear that Jeff passed away. I will keep you all in my prayers that the Lord will give you comfort knowing he is no longer in pain and at peace. I'm sorry I couldn't bring myself to be back at the funeral home not long after Mikes passing. The whole Susan family were raised well by their mother and father. So respectful, and kind. May you find Gods grace and mercy at this time of loss. Sharyn and a heavenly wish from Mike Strauch. We thought the world of Jeff. He will be missed.

May he rest in God's loving arms. Knew Jeff briefly before his illness. He was always super kind and helped with all kind of chores around my property. He will be missed.

The only solace in your brother's and uncle's passing is that he is at peace reunited with his loving parents. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Jeff was a very hard worker in the neighborhood who seldom told residents he couldn't complete any requested landscaping job. His friendly presence the past few years was truly missed on our street.
