Mr. & Mrs. Dentel, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Jeremy was one of my closest friends and we had so many positive and joyful experiences together. At the Penguins game we attended in January he was talking about both of you with such love and kindness, sharing about how you always offer to help him with home improvement projects and are so happy to spend time with him and Summer. I know that all you did meant so much to him and he cared for you both so deeply. He loved his family more than anything. Jeremy brought such joy into my life and it breaks my heart that we don't be able to explore Nashville again together. I will always cherish our memories from film classes, TKE formal, parties at Pitt, Penguins games, making buffalo chicken dip, BeerFest, and numerous movie nights. Sending all my prayers and love to you in this difficult time. Please let me know if I can help or provide support in any way. Petey

I worked with Jeremy for about year before I left due to medical reasons. In the days, weeks and years after, Jeremy kept in contact with me and kept checking in to see how I was doing. He continued to offer any kind of support or help he could provide. Jeremy's level of genuine thoughtfulness and outreach was greater than that of many people I was much closer to. I'll always remember his kindness and compassion; he's an inspiration for how to treat all the people you meet in life. Sincerest condolences to his family and friends for this tragic and unfair loss.
