Obituary For Jerry M. Bucci

September 16, 1929 - November 23, 2017

Bucci, Jerry M. Age 88, peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, November 23, 2017, of Baldwin.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou (McAleer); loving father of Barbara (Rich) Imhoff, Greg Bucci, Dan Bucci, Linda (Joe) Winkler and the late Michael Bucci; proud grandfather of Allison, Christina and Jackie Imhoff; brother of the late Louise (Sal) Gizzo, Mary (John) Kramer, Michael Bucci and Christina (survived by Frank) Bragano; brother-in-law of Ruth (Paul) Stefano; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Jerry enlisted in the United States Army in 1948. In 1989, he retired as a Sergeant Major. He was also a retired U.S. Postal worker and after a second career he retired from Federated Investors. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Saturday, November 25, 2017, 6-8 p.m and Sunday, November 26, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Jerry's family offers special thanks to Michelle, Amey and the entire staff of Overlook Green Assisted Living for the exceptional and loving care they provided.     Greg, Linda, Barb, and Danny, You have my deepest sympathy in the the loss of your father.
