So sorry for your loss. I have many memories of your Mom growing up when my Mother would make occasional visits and spend the day and have lunch with you all and your Mom. I wish you all peace at this difficult time.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to the entire family. I think it is amazing that after so many years I thought of your Mom just this morning! I had not heard of her passing and I honestly hadn't thought of her in many years. My husband was walking through the house humming and I thought of Mrs Wooddell humming while she cleaned when I was over playing with Peggy at your house. Heaven certainly has another angel. Sending love from Colorado

My wife Jan and I first met the Wooddell family in 1976, when their son, Ed Jr. and I met as freshmen at IUP. We have had the true honor and pleasure to have known the entire family since then. You know how strong and honorable a family is by the how there kids were raised and we can tell you that the Wooddell family is the best. We share the sorrow that everyone who knew and loved Joan is going through but we also know that she has left a legacy that will live on in her name and memory. God bless Joan and the entire Wooddell family. With love and prayers. Dave and Jan Hughes
