Knefelkamp, Joan E. (Boening) Age 83, on Thursday, July 19, 2018, of Lawrence, PA, formerly of Brentwood.

Preceded in death by her parents Dr. Otto H. and Esther P. Boening, her sister Elaine Cimino, and her brother Donald Boening. Survived by her sister-in-law Susan Boening and many loving nieces and nephews. Joan worked as an executive secretary with Consolidation Coal for many years. She also previously worked at Country Belle Dairy. She graduated from South Hills High School in 1950, and loved working on the Reunion Committee. Joan was an avid Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins fan who would not answer the telephone during the game. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, July 27, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
