Obituary For JoAnn M. DiGiorno

June 24, 1938 - July 16, 2014

DiGiorno, JoAnn M. (Rieber), age 76, after a courageous battle with cancer, peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 of Overbrook. Beloved wife of 54 years to Joseph F.; loving mother of Keith J. (Margie), Denise A. (Alex) Borek, Scott M. (Shelley); proud grandmother of Melissa, Billy, Kenny, Joey, Brandon, Natalie, and Emily; sister of Carol Rieber, and the late Kathleen Getner; also survived by dearest friend Grace Edeburn and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Norbert Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh , PA 15205.
