Carol, Norm and Michael - We are so incredibly sad your mom has passed on. She was a special person with a very kind and loving and generous heart. Joann (and Ron) were part of my life and my parents life from 1967 until now. She was like a second mom to me when I was very young and was there at every special moment in my life and for my parents too, many times. She is forever in my heart. Our sincere condolences. As we go through life we come in contact with a variety of people: The Good, The Bad and The Indifferent. Joann Bieranowski (Sledziewski) would undoubtedly be classified as "The Good". From her kids at church she was known as Mrs. "B". To the OH I need 92 dozen of cookies for the church cookie sale she was special! "Whatever" "I am cold" and "Hold me" were three of Joann's favorite sayings. What started out as a dinner date turned into something special. She had become part of my life. To say I will miss her would be an understatement. Joann Bieranowski will always be in my heart. I am a better person because of her. Rest in peace "love" and give your Ron #1 and my Carole my best....Ron #2 (salt fish)

My dear, dear friend and BFF. We had so many good times together. Weekend trips, day trips, dinners out with Rose and Kathy and Donna, Bingo under the stars at church (and you only played half the games) You were there for me when Mike died and I tried to be there for you in the end. Thanks for so many years of helping me with my card parties for Africa, for being my CCD assistant (which is where you got the name Mrs. B cause the 2nd grade kids could not pronounce Bieranowski!), for just plain loving me and being the best friend. I will miss you beyond words but will be praying for you always. I will see you again Jo, save me a place (as we would always say to each other). You are saying to me right now, "whatever'! Xoxoxoxo
