Obituary For Joanne (Eicker) Moeller

Age 88, on Thursday, September 22, 2022, of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved wife of the late Ralph; mother of Lynda (Richard) Germano and the late Debra and Sherri Moeller; grandmother of Kimberly Tasota; daughter of the late Cletus and Mary Eicker; sister-in-law of Audrey Moeller, Sylvia (Lou) Sperber, Nancy Schlereth, Ronald (Diane), Kenneth (Sue Duramo), Gary (Jill) and Patricia (Tom Nee). Also survived by her Goddaughter, Margaret Scullen and many nieces, nephews and cousins. After many years as a homemaker, Joanne became a floral designer at Johnston the Florist and Foodland. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2-6 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Germaine Church at 11:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 600 Waterfront Drive, #223 Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

    Many years ago, at St. Germaine School, I was a classmate of her daughter Sherri. Even as young as I was, I understood her courage, strength and faith and I remember it, and her to this day. May God bless her family with good memories and healing.
