Obituary For Joanne K. Maravich

Maravich, Joanne K. (Covi), age 88, of Whitehall, on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Beloved wife of the late George "Punk" Maravich; mother of Darlene (Guy) Defebo, David (Donna), Daniel "Lep", Debra and Dana Maravich; Jamma of Vincent and Dustin Defebo and Michael, Brandon and Leah Maravich; great-Jamma of Thomas Allen, Athena Jean and Joanna Rose Defebo. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. A Pomen will be held at 7:00. Visitation will continue Wednesday, September 20 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 450 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh 15236. Services will be conducted by the Very Rev. Stevan Rocknage, Episcopal Dean of the Pittsburgh Deanery. If desired, the family suggests contributions to Holy Trinity, Raise the Roof, 450 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 or Best Buddies Pittsburgh, 6425 Living Place #200, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
