Wawrzyniak, Johanna M. (Popochock),

Age 80, on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, of both Overbrook and Newport Richey, FL . Beloved wife of 58 years to Robert P. Wawrzyniak; loving mother of Kathleen W. (Franklin) Cheng, Robert (Kathleen) Wawrzyniak, Susan M. (Gerald) Cysewski and Sandra J. (Larry) Geesaman; proud grandma of Kathryn and Amy Wawrzyniak, and Nicholas and Zachary Cheng; daughter of the late Josephine (Jody) McGivern and John Popochock; sister of John (Lorraine) Popochock and Rev. James Popochock. Johanna worked as a nurse for St. Joseph Hospital for over 20 years and then for Jefferson and Magee Hospitals until her retirement. She was an avid seamstress, quilter and knitter. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 1- 8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:30.
