Escajeda, John A. Age 84, on Friday, November 16, 2018, of Castle Shannon.

Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Bernice A. "Bernie" Escajeda; loving father to Michael J. (Sharon) of Baldwin, Debra (Richard) Huebner of Castle Shannon and John E. (Nanette) of Phoenix, AZ; grandfather of Justin (Christina), Jerry, Marissa, Timothy, Eric, Klay, Jacob and Kayla; great-grandfather of Arianna, Gianah, Declan and Ava; brother of Luis, Rosemary Skinner and the late Ruben. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. John served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an electrical engineer and worked as a consultant on public transportation in many places, in and out of the country. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, November 20, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
