Seeing your daughter smile at her work when I told her Big John was the man who hired me.
Seeing in your son the values you taught to both of us, what to do with a situation, and sharing the next moment as instinct of what was right to do from your influence.
Most of all our wonderful conversations as we spent a couple hours a week for a couple years as golf cart buddies at Moon.
We will have great conversations again. God Bless You Sir!

John, thank you for all you did with and for my kids. Especially Isaac. You meant the world to him and he is just heartbroken losing you, we all are. Thank you for showing him the value of good old fashion porch talk. We love you.

You have got to love a guy named "Big John". He wore that name like John Wayne wore "The Duke". A big man with a big heart. He was a great boss to work for because he understood the value of his people and knew the difference between what was important (at work and in life) and what was just noise. You might think because he was an older guy he would not have embraced technology, but he always seemed to have a new gadget or software thing going on that I didn't know anything about. We will "tee one up" for you at Moon Golf in your honor. We will miss you big guy.

I am so sorry and at a loss for words. I loved John from the day I first spoke with him on the phone at Honeywell. John was such a joy to be around. Such a untiring help he was to a pest such as myself when I first came on board. Craig and I enjoyed our vacation in Myrtle Beach with John and Beverly and Tracy. "Elvis" made everything in life enjoyable. Honeywell has not been the same without the likes of funny, witty, knowledgable and wonderful Big John. What a wonderful family John has been blessed with. May God be with all of you.

Uncle John, I write this with a heavy heart. I will always remember the great times we spent together from the pool parties we had at your house when I was kid, the trip to Disney in your motor home, the many vacations to Emerald Isle, hunting trips to camp and the usual family gatherings. You had a great skill in striking up good conversations and I will forever miss the enjoyable fun loving arguments you managed to have with Justin and I and anyone else who cared to banter with you. It will not be the same not having you around. Love, Ben
