Regel, John "Jack", age 82, on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 of Whitehall. Beloved husband of Joan (Newell) Regel; loving father of David Regel (Dr. Levi Zimmerman), Brian Regel (Sandy Sebastian), Kevin Regel (Cindy Hess) and Daniel Regel (Denise Lesutis); cherished grandfather of Shane, Kirsten, Joshua and Nicholas Regel. Also survived by brother Kenneth Regel (Ellen). Jack served in the U.S. Army and retired after 40 years at Federal Reserve Bank. He was the longtime President of the Ushers Club at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 1-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:15.
