Obituary For John A. Rosa

Age 89, on Friday, January 21, 2022, of Bethel Park passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Loving husband of the late Patricia Rosa for 62 years; beloved father of John P. Rosa, Debbie (Wayne) Carson and Mike (MaryAnn) Rosa; devoted grandfather of Michael, Julianne and Winston Rosa, Matt (Ashley), Brittany and Nick (Ashley) Carson and Nick (Alicia), Andrew and Nathan Rosa; proud great-grandfather of Camden and Avery; brother of Carl Rosa; brother-in-law of Karen Dawso Johnson. Also survived by nieces, Karen and Barbara. John served eight years in the United States Army. His passions in life were golfing and spending time with his family and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Valentine Church at 10 a.m., everyone please meet at church. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, www.stjude.org.
