Gibson, John B. Jr. "Jack" Beloved husband of Marlene for 58 years; devoted father of Jack (Sue) Gibson III and the late Joan Kathleen Gibson; proud grandfather of John B. (Alexa) Gibson IV and Justin Ray Gibson; great-grandfather of Sofia and Natalia who are his little rays of sunshine and source of countless smiles and laughter; son of the late John and Mary Gibson; brother of Barbara (Hank) South and many nieces and nephews. Jack's family would like to extend their gratitude to Bridge's Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion. Friends received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227, Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 9:00am-11:00am. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 11:15. Mass of Christian burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at noon. Interment on Wednesday in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery with full military honors at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Society in memory of his daughter, Joanie. 09/04/2023 Our deepest sympathies to Aunt Marlene, Jackie, and their families.
