Augustine, Jr., John E. "Butch"Age 87, of Overbrook, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022.Beloved husband of 60 years to Marietta (Abbruzzese) Augustine; loving father of Julianne Karman and John M. (Felecia) Augustine; Pap of John E.S. and Angus M. Augustine, Robert Nathan and Joshua Karman; great-grandpap of Aubrey, Logan and Jaxon Augustine; son of the late John E. Augustine, Sr. and Marion (Aspley) Augustine; brother of Jean (the late George) Handlos and Eleanor "Sis" (the late Robert) Shore. Also survived by nieces and nephews. John served in the U.S. Army, retired from Geyer's Printing and was an avid fisherman and wood worker. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday, July 28, 2022, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish in St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 am.
