To Kathy and your entire family John was special in every way. In all the many family reunions over many years John was the best athlete in the family and he let you know but he was always gracious in winning every time. He had the best smile I've ever seen and he had great compassion for anyone with any challenge in life. I'm sure no one lived a better life and just remember all the time he was here he always made family and friends first. Every time I'll think of John I'll smile With much sympathy Dennis Morgan

I was an acquaintance of John's during our teen years growing up in Carrick. He was a tough SOB with a strong fire and enthusiasm for life. I was fortunate (after 40+ years) to catch up a bit with John at a Pirate game suite night in August. He was bight eyed, engaging and happily content. Condolences and prayers to all John's family and friends. Jim Rogozinski (Rogo), Woodville OH

John had the ability to enter a room, a ball field or wherever and instantly light it up with his smile and personality. My last memory of John was he and Sean attending a suite night with a Carrick theme at the a pirate game in August. John introduced Sean to everyone and was in a great festive mood. RIP John and all the best to his family. Bill Sutton, Tampa FL
