Age 92, peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Greenfield. Beloved husband of 60 years to Beverly J. (Huff); loving father of Patrick (Lori), Kathleen (Tom) Redpath and James (Kari); proud pappy of Michael (Abigail Nath), Zachary, Emily, Samuel, Sarah and Finn; brother of Sister Marionette Coll I.H.M; predeceased by his eight siblings. Also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Visitations will be held privately. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Sisters of I.H.M., I.H.M. Center, 2300 Adams Avenue, Scranton, PA 18509.
