Beloved husband of 65 years to LaVerne (Baumgart); loving father of Cynthia (John) McArdle and Jacquelyn (Marcus) Giarrusso and John (Diana) Bick; grandfather of Melissa, Lori Ann, Susan, Marcus and Lauren; great-grandfather of Marissa, Katelyn and Colton; brother of the late Donald C. Bick. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.
