Age 55, passed surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 5, 2024, of Penn Hills formerly of Baldwin.

Loving husband of Michele Barrett; cherished father of Tyler Barrett and Brooke Barrett; step-father of Luka Pascarella; son of the late John and Lillian Barrett; brother of the late Joe (survived by Tracy), survived by Catherine Zandier, Andrew Barrett, the late Frank Barrett and the late Judith Barrett; brother-in-law of Deniele (Keith Smith) Korotko. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. JB was a lover of all sports, especially baseball and football, watching them every chance he got. He was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan, and he loved to golf and bet on horse racing. He fought a long hard battle with cancer that he did not lose, God saw he was tired and brought him home. JB will leave behind a legacy of courage and strength that he showed until the day he left this earth.
