Obituary For John L. Brositz

Age 84, on Monday, January 10, 2022, of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Claire J. (Ancell) Brositz; devoted father of Mark (Jennifer) Brositz and Laura (Thomas) Schuster; cherished grandfather of Josh, Derek, Maura and Justin; brother of Marguerite (Don) Stark. Also survived by his many friends. John proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Alzheimer's Association - Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 2835 E. Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
