Obituary For John Patrick Farabaugh

October 10, 1933 - October 17, 2016

Farabaugh, John P., age 83, on Monday, October 17, 2016 of Baldwin. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne (Markunas); loving father of Jeanna (the late Frank) Fisher, John (Beth), Steve (Holly), Ronald (Kay), Joy (Joe Hanson) and Tom (Jan); proud grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of two; brother of Thora (the late Hal) Schmidt, Norma (the late Al) Farhner, Janet (the late John) Hyrb, Bunny (Jerry) Olivery, Tim (Judy), Susan (Jeff) Moedinger and the late Nell (Gene) Kress, Tom and Jane (survived by Ray) Donley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was proud to have served his country in Korea as a member of the U.S. Army. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Valentine Church at 10:00 a.m.
