Ann and family: I just now heard about the passing of John and Peggy. You were always a close, wonderful and caring family. Ann, we went all through school together. You were always a favorite classmate of mine. Our families were so similar. I am very upset about your loss. God be with all of you. Life is hard and bad things happen to all of us. My prayers and thoughts are with your entire family. Rose Ward

I'm so very sorry to hear this as John was a great man and a truly passionate Steeler fan. I will never forget his lines: "Get the ball baby!" "Take it dahntahn!" "Going to the northside!" He always brought joy and a sense of community to those games and I can still hear his voice cheering when I watch the games at home. Much love to the family and particularly his wife Sam.

So sorry to read that Johnny had passed away. Old friends drift away but leave so many memories. Remembering so many happy times that we all shared on Orchard Place. Thinking of all of you. Rest in Peace, Johnny. Elaine O'Brien and family.
