Obituary For John R. "Jack" Karenbauer

March 24, 1936 - January 20, 2015

Karenbauer, John R. "Jack", age 78, on Tuesday, January 20, 2014 of Bethel Park. Beloved husband of 57 years to Eileen (Loadman); father of Michael (Mary Ann); grandfather of Janice (Nick) Barthen and Jared Karenbauer; great-grandfather of Grace Catherine Barthen. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Jack was retired from Matthews International. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Germaine Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.     Our sympathy to Eileen and family. I am the younger brother of Harold and John Weber who were buddies of Jack. I was one of the younger guys that bugged my brothers and their buddies. We had Jack and Eileen out to dinner with Harold at our home and enjoyed their company. Again we are sorry for your loss. May God Bless your family.
