Obituary For Jonathan Robert Stanton

Age 43, on Saturday, December 21, 2024, of South Park. Loving husband of 17 years to Valerie A. (Ducouer) Stanton; cherished Daddy of Madison, Josie and Harley; son of Richard and Donna Stanton, Sr.; brother of Richard (Kate) Stanton, Jr. and Kristen (Rob) Hischar; son-in-law of John and Sally Ducouer; brother-in-law of Danielle (Bill) Warfel; uncle of Jordan, Blake, Mia, Brooke, Makayla, Sadie and the late Mason. He was a beloved Coach in the South Park Community and an avid sports fan, especially of Pittsburgh teams. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, December 27 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish, Resurrection Church, 1100 Creedmoor Ave., Pittsburgh 15226. If desired, the family suggests contributions to the ALS Foundation, Western PA Chapter, 416 Lincoln Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15209 or the Childrens Hospital Heart Institute, 4401 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
