Age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2023, of Baldwin, formerly of Arlington. Son of the late Bernard and Irma Kestner; beloved brother of Mary Ann "Susie" Kestner; loving "father" of Deborah Pannier (Don Jones); caring "grandfather" of Melissa and Zachary Jordan; cherished cousin of Sally Enscoe and Jean Kontos. Joe worked for the United States Postal Service for over 43 years until his retirement. He was an avid golfer as well as a member of the Friends of the Baldwin Library. Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Brother's Brother, 1200 Galveston Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233, @brothersbrother.org or a charity of your choice.
