Age 89, on Monday, May 25, 2026, of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of 62 years to Marian (McCloskey); loving father of Joseph, Jr. (Marcia) and John (Rayann); proud Pap of Jamie (Zach) Bugay, Craig (fiancée Layne) Maras, Ashley (Sam) Macchione, McKenzie (fiancé Ben) Lytle and Hailey Lytle; Great-Grandpap of Ellie; son of the late Joseph C. and May Lytle; brother of the late James Lytle; brother-in-law of Selma (the late Bill) Schutte and Lynne Smith. Also survived by nieces, nephews and their families. Joe was a 1955 graduate of Brentwood High School and a 1959 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a longtime, faithful member of Brentwood Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and deacon and was a 40 year employee of Duquesne Light. Friends will be received at the John F.
